What it does
The Content Calendar is an automation hub that lets you schedule content to be generated on specific dates. Each calendar entry holds a topic, its generation settings, and a date; when that date arrives, humanaizer triggers the pipeline for you automatically.
Beyond adding entries one at a time, you can bulk-import an entire content plan from an Excel file. Prepare a monthly or quarterly plan in a spreadsheet, then drop it into the calendar in just a few clicks.
For every scheduled item you can automate generation only, or — if it is tied to a connected publishing target — turn on automatic publishing after generation as well. Recurring schedules let you set up a steady content cadence in a single step.
Why it matters
The biggest enemy of consistent content is starting from scratch every day and kicking off generation by hand. The calendar removes that burden: you set up the plan once, and the system runs at the scheduled time without you lifting a finger.
Bulk import is the fastest way to put a large content strategy into motion. Instead of entering dozens of topics one by one, you prepare them in a table, import it, and queue weeks of production in minutes.
Recurring schedules guarantee a consistent publishing rhythm. Search engines and readers reward regular, fresh content, and the calendar maintains that rhythm automatically.
How to use it
- 1
Open the Calendar
Go to the Calendar section in your dashboard. The monthly view shows scheduled entries and open days at a glance.
- 2
Create a new schedule
Pick a date and add a new schedule. Specify the content topic, which template and brand it will use, and the generation settings.
- 3
Choose generation and publishing behavior
Decide whether you want generation only or automatic publishing after generation. Auto-publishing requires a connected publishing target.
- 4
Set a recurrence rule (optional)
For a steady stream, define a recurring schedule; the system generates new entries automatically at the interval you set.
- 5
Bulk-import a plan from Excel
If you already have a content plan, use the bulk-import option to upload your Excel file; every row is added to the calendar as an entry.
- 6
Verify the plan and walk away
Review the calendar view to confirm entries sit on the right dates with the right settings. The rest is automatic — each entry runs itself when its time comes.
Tips
- Test bulk import with a small Excel sample first to make sure the column mapping matches your expectations.
- Spread schedules across the week to avoid pile-ups on busy days; the pipeline processes each entry independently.
- Before enabling auto-publishing, confirm your publishing target is connected and tested.
- Use recurring schedules for evergreen content themes; add one-off campaigns as regular single entries.
Frequently asked questions
Will my scheduled content be published automatically?
That is your choice. For each entry you can enable generation only, or also turn on automatic publishing after generation. Auto-publishing requires a connected publishing target.
How many items can I import from one Excel file?
Bulk import adds every row in your prepared table to the calendar as an entry, so you can queue an entire content plan in a single pass.
Does my computer need to be on at the scheduled time?
No. Generation runs on humanaizer's side; the pipeline triggers automatically at your scheduled date and time, even when you are offline.
Can I set up regular, recurring content?
Yes. Define a recurring schedule to have new content generated automatically at the interval you choose.
